ADJUSTABLE JOINT

adjustable union provides a reliable means of spacing out and connecting the tubing on the shortstring side between two dual packers. It can also be used to space out the production tubing near the surface in single and dual completions. Telescoping action of the adjustable allows it to be set and locked at any desired position within its adjustment length, and it allows pressure integrity to be maintained in the tubing string. Once the union is in place, the desired amount of tension or weight may be applied on the string. Rotational torque can be applied to the tubing through this tool.
