EXPANSION JOINT

The Expansion Joint can be run in one of two positions. Shear screw grooves in the mandrel allow the tool to be pinned at the collapsed, extended, or mid position, The tool is usually run directly above the packer and can be spaced out to allow for contraction and/or expansion of the tubing string during production or treating. The tool does not have to be fully collapsed or fully extended for rotation through the tool.
