S-SERIES SUBSURFACE SAFETY VALVE

The S-Series Tubing-Retrievable Safety Valve is a single rod-piston non-elastomer flapper valve designed for where ultimate reliability is required. The piston achieves a metal-to-metal seal at its uppermost and lowermost positions to seal well pressure from the control system. The Ultra strong curved flapper design provides full metal-to-metal sealing integrity. These ultra-slimline curved flappers allow operators to reduce their overall costs and maximize their return on investment by maintaining a large bore ID while reducing the casing sizes needed for the completion.
