DFS FLOW SHOE

The Model “DFS” Flow Shoe is a sort of check valve device used to prevent formation sand from entering the screens while running in hole. It also allow to circulate to the bottom of the screen assembly to facilitate placement in the designing position when heavy fines are present. The “DFS” flow shoe is commonly used in gravel pack and stand alone application for open hole horizontal wells. When at depth, it prevents fluid and sand or fines flow through the ID, thereby diverting them to the sand screen.
